About the event
Join me for a plant walk at Chapman's Landing, also known as Chapman's State Park or Mt. Aventine.
Late August-Mid September is prime pawpaw season. Those of us in Charles County can tie it to fair weekend! We'll do the Coastal Woodlands trail which will take us through forests and along the Potomac River and is roughly 1.5 miles. We'll see an abundance of plants, a cemetery, and one of the most stunning views in the area.
