Anti-anxiety and anti-viral, lemon balm is your buddy to help smooth out the rough edges, both in life and on your lips. A member of the mint family, lemon balm smells lemony when you brush against it. The salve has Sweet Orange essential oil to bring out the cheery citrus goodness.
Lemon balm is Melissa officinalis. I liken it to talking or having tea with your good friend Melissa who calms you down and always has a level head.
Being antiviral, lemon balm has also been effective against HSV 1 and 2!

As salves are made with temperature sensitive oils and waxes, melting is common in warmer temps. They'll solidify again when they cool down and are fine at room temp.
