Tarot of the Week - Temperance

Every week I pull a card of the week. I either pull from one of my own decks or from a deck online. I learn about the card, journal with it, and focus on how I can apply it to my life for that week. Deck - Modern Witches Tarot

This gorgeous deck is focused on the modern witch and has modern themes. The cards depict people of all shades and shapes with a theme similar to the Rider-Waite deck. This is my favorite deck. I love the cards and while they're a little too big for my hands I still reach for it most. The book that comes with it offers detailed explanations and has imagery from the 10 of Swords.

Card of the Week - Temperance

Temperance is all about balance. In the card we see a person standing with one foot in water and the other on land, pouring water easily from one cup to the other. It's all about the flow, baby. Even their shirt, with the triangle and the square, implies balance. In the background there is a valley and a happy sun shining down on it all.

Temperance shows us that there is joy and peace in balance. It urges us to find harmony. In a spread, Temperance can be indicative of moderation, balance, and harmony. It might be telling you to seek compromise or that your union is well made.
