Spring is here!!
This is my absolute favorite time of year. It's a time of new beginnings, growth, and abundance. A time to plant seeds and nurture growth. I'm so excited to get outside and play!

Every week on Wednesday I pull a card of the week. I either pull from one of my own decks or from a deck online. I learn about the card, journal with it, and focus on how I can apply it to my life for that week. This helps me learn Tarot and gain intimate knowledge of each card. Every Friday, I'll share about the card here to reinforce that knowledge.

Deck of the Week - Modern Witch Tarot
I choose from my Modern Witch Tarot this week. The link takes you to a previous description of the deck. It's a modern take on theme found in the traditional deck. Cards are a little too big for my hands but it's still one of my faves.

Card of the Week - The Tower
The Tower can be an ominous card.
On it we see a tall, well made, sturdy tower on a jagged cliff being struck by lightning. Fire blazes from the windows as people fall to their deaths on the sharp rocks below.
Fire lightning destruction we're all gonna die!!!
The Tower shows carefully laid plans and hard work destroyed and hopes dashed.
What it also means though, is change. Something earth shifting and big. Sometimes in order to get to the core of ourselves and the path we really want to be taking or the habits we're really trying to cultivate we have to get knocked off the wrong track. The Tower card says that's coming. It might be chaos, but chaos isn't always bad.
Journal Prompts
Q - When was a time that you lost what you thought you wanted but it worked out in the end?
Q - How do you handle disappointment? Crisis? Are you steady or are you frantic? Why do you think that is?
Q - What are some ways that you self soothe? When was the last time you pampered yourself?
Q - Are you prepared in case of emergency? Do you have the necessary skills to survive off grid or is that even something you'd want to do? What would your ideal apocalypse look like?
Have an amazing weekend and get outside!!
Happy Journaling!
